October

I have so much to blog about.

Logan's Birthday
The Yamboree
My Mom's Birthday

It's coming soon!

Blessings.....

I'm having one of those "everything makes me cry days" and reading all the sweet sayings on Pinterest is NOT helping.  I often wonder why the Lord blesses me so abundantly.  My life is blessed-more than i deserve.  I am not wealthy and I don't have the newest THINGS.  I do not live in a fancy house or drive a new bright & shiny vehicle.  I don't have the newest fashionable clothes or shoes.

BUT - I do have my health and a healthy son.
I have a family that loves and supports me.
I eat everyday.
I have a nice home and a nice vehicle.
I have clothes that are nice and shoes without holes in them.
I have a great job and wonderful boss.
I have friends.
I laugh daily.
And...I have a Lord that LOVES ME UNCONDITIONALLY.  Wow!  I AM BLESSED - MORE THAN I DESERVE!
I hope you are too.

I lost my Aunt Betty, to cancer, this week.
I HATE cancer.
 Being a cancer survivor -
I know how it can literally suck the life out of you
 and
everyone around you.

The bright spot -
I was able to see my sister, niece, and great-nephew!

Logan worked so hard on his
Author Exploration project for 4th Grade.
He was so proud of the outcome and so was I.
He loved his dog costume as well
- thank goodness -
since it was VERY homemade!
(In case you are wondering....he's a dog!))

I'm in Love...Big Hunk!

Source: google.com via Jenny on Pinterest

I LOVE candy!  I have a MAJOR sweet tooth!
Did I mention...I LOVE CANDY!?

I am quite picky though.  Chocolate is not my favorite.  I don't have anything against a good ol' chocolate bar (especially if it's mixed with peanut butter) but I prefer Twizzlers, Hot Tamales, Jolly Ranchers, Nerds, ....did I mention - I LOVE CANDY!

Well....now I have a new favorite.
While on a roadtrip, with Darin and his parents, to Austin ~
Darin's mom introduced me to the

Oh my goodness!
I had NEVER even heard of this little slice of heaven.
And, I've come to find out ~ you canNOT find them just anywhere.

Darin went to Austin, again, not too long ago and I kindly asked him to bring me one back.  ((Secretly hoping for a stash))
And.... he was kind enough to bring me ONE (exactly what I asked for...right!?).
What in the world??  ONE Big Hunk IS all he brought.

Well, good news my friends!  On the way home from Canton, today, I made two stops hoping to find a Big Hunk.
Yes!  I had success.
I found a store in East Texas that carries them.
So, I purchased myself FIVE.
That should last about a week!
